General conditions

Practical and clear

 

A. In general

1. All agreements made and to be made between DogPartner and the participant will be ruled by the following conditions

2. Participants are those, whom have made an agreement with DogPartner, participation becomes definitive on the date of subscription and payment of the agreed program

3. Participants at all time train at their own risk with DogPartner

4. DogPartner is not responsible for any physical and/or material damage caused by your dog on the training grounds and beyond. The handler therefore is required to have a valid insurance to which he can appeal if needed

5. For minors, a parent or legal guardian needs to co-sign and be present

6. Dissenting stipulations will only be valid when agreed to in writing by both parties and even then they will only apply to the special agreement for which the dissenting stipulations have been agreed upon.

7. DogPartners work at their own account and risk and make use of the combined knowledge and documentation

8. DogPartner is not responsible for any accidents, damages or theft in the parking lot. Therefore, lock your car carefully and don’t leave any valuables behind

 

B. Offer

1. DogPartners establish their own agenda from the workshops composed by DogPartner and may offer extra activities

2. The participants are required to make full payment of the workshop fee, in cash or by bank transfer, prior to the workshop. In case of non payment the participant will not be admitted to the workshop

3. If the workshop needs to be terminated prematurely by the instructor due to illness or circumstances beyond one’s control, the remaining fee of the workshop minus the cost of the material will be repaid to the participant

4. In case of illness or circumstances beyond one’s control, catch up lessons will possible free of charge. These catch up lessons will be planed according to the possibilities of and in consult with the instructor

5. If lessons are cancelled due to illness or circumstances beyond one’s control on the part of the instructor, these will be rescheduled according to the possibilities of and in consult with the instructor

 

C. Practical and logical

1. Before taking part in any training your dog needs to be duly vaccinated by your veterinarian

2. You are requested to arrive ten minutes prior to the start of the lessons so that you can walk your dog if needed.

3. Upon entering the training grounds your dog does not need to relieve himself. If an accident does occur you are required to clean up immediately. Make sure your dog doesn’t put his mark on every object             

4. In order to be able to execute correctly all indications, the use of a lead of normal length is advisable. In these circumstances leads that unroll are not practical

5. Dogs are not allowed to play or make contact on the training grounds

6. Treats such as cookies and other primary rewards are allowed. Make sure your dog hasn’t eaten prior to the training session

7. During the theoretical sessions dogs are not allowed in the room without the explicit permission of the instructor

8. Smoking in the classroom or on the training ground is not allowed during the course. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed during the theoretical and practical sessions

9. It is advised to wear functional clothing and to bring rain clothing and boots in case of bad weather

10. The use of a choke chain, half choker or collar containing metal pins is strictly prohibited!!

11. If you can not attend you are required to inform your instructor. Phone number <number>. If you do so within a reasonable delay of time, a catch up lesson can be planed or your attendance can be postponed to the next workshop

12. Sick dogs with e.g. diarrhoea, kennel cough or bitches in heat will not be allowed to attend

 

D. Advice

A handler or owner of a dog can ask DogPartner for advice concerning the (un)wanted behaviour of his dog.

The advice given will be based on the vast and professional experience of DogPartner

This advice will however not engage the responsibility of DogPartner for any eventually unwanted consequences due to the application of this advice. The handler/owner remains at all time responsible for the consequences of his/her dog’s behaviour
